Note:

There will be little increase of Tariff from 1st July 2009: High Season: US $ 250 per person per night.( Jan - June & August - December). Low season: US $ 200 per person per night. (July).

International Tourist Tariff (other than Indian Nationals) is set by Tourism Council of Bhutan, Royal Government of Bhutan and is valid for all-inclusive package tour.

The minimum tariff for tourist visiting in a group of 3 persons or more is as follows (per person per night):

Please note:

The above tariffs do not cover the recently opened Aman kora Resorts Paro, Thimphu, Punakha and Gangtey, Uma Resort in Paro and Taj Tashi in Thimphu.

Single Room Supplements

The quoted package rates are valid for accommodation on twin sharing basis and following supplements will be applicable incase of single room accommodation :- For, Festival season = US$ 50 / per single room per night For, other season = US$ 25 / per single room per night

SURCHARGE

Individual tourists and group size of less than 3 persons shall be subject to surcharge, in addition to the minimum daily tariff, as follows: 1 person: US$ 40 per night per person in addition to the daily tariff. 2 Persons: US$ 30 per night per person in addition to the daily tariff. Note: We recommend that all travelers to obtain a short-term traveler’s insurance, which covers baggage and life.


THE MINIMUM DAILY TARIFF INCLUDES:

1. Govt royalty .
2. Transportations. .
3. Good english speaking guide to assist you through out your trip and trek.
4. All accommodation in twin sharing basis.
5. All three meals.
6. Sight Seeing.
7. Route permits and special permits.
8. Entrance fee.
9. Miniral water (as complimentery).

THE TARIFF DOESNOT INCLIDE:

1. Druk Air fare (Bhutanese only national airline).
2. Travel Insurance (We advice to get short term insurance for your baggage and life). Such policies are not available in the country.).
3. Excess baggage.
4. All bills of any personal nature (i.e. Laundry, bar etc) and tips for your guides and driver

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

The costs that we offer do not cover your Travel Insurance. It is imperative that you have full comprehensive insurance cover to protect against unforeseen accidents and mishaps. Such policies are not available in Bhutan. It should adequately cover baggage and travel delays etc. and helicopter evacuation, transportation and medical assistance incase of treks.


DISCOUNTS

The following are subject to approval from the Department of Tourism, Royal Government of Bhutan.
b) Child: 5 years and below not applicable for above tariff, 6-12 years is 50% off
c) Full time students below the age of 25 is given a 25% discount (document required from Institutes or schools).
d) a.50% discount on the minimum daily tariff is given to one person in a group of 11-15 persons.
b. 100% discount is given to one member in a group more than 16 persons.

CANCELLATION CHARGES

Trips booked and consequently cancelled are subject to cancellation charges as follows: a) Tour booked and cancelled within 1 month of prior notice: 80% refund of total tour cost. b) Less then 1 month or with out notice: No refund

 

Delayed arrival and departure.


There shall be no charge for the number of delay on arrival and departure due to weather, Drukair or natural disaster. We charge you only on actual basis, hotel cancellation, guide, transportation etc.

TOUR PAYMENT


Your tour payment is inclusive of both the tour cost and Druk Air fare. If you would prefer to make the payments for your tour and air fare separately, we can do for you but please keep in mind, which might cost additional banking fees for multiple transfers. All tour payments must be settled six weeks in advance of instigation of tour to clear the Bhutan visa by the authority subject to advance payments only. Visa clearances are issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Thimphu Bhutan, and must be obtain before departing for Bhutan. Druk air tickets can not be purchased without visa clearance.

Note: Bhutan visa can not be obtained at any of the Bhutanese embassies in abroad.
Please note that all tour groups who come to Bhutan are subject to the following payment procedure. Please be assured of confidence and security when using this payment, basically it required these steps:
Go to your bank and ask to make an International Bank Transfer. They have forms, so fill up the forms and sent it to Bhutan Bigfoot Trekkers (Tours).

To get into the kingdom of Bhutan, you just need to fill up the Visa form and forward to Bhutan Bigfoot Trekking, need four weeks to process the Visa.
